I am totally cool with Steve not being IW. Hell, I needed wine and my dog as therapy after I got home from seeing it. ;D

The tension is always a good way to start. Have them work up to being besties :D

haha I feel you. I needed therapy myself after. But yes there will be tension, but Tony knows he and Cap work best together so he'll do his best to reach out when he's ready.

And Steve feels hella guilty too because the whole thing with Howard and Bucky. Like, he knew he needed to tell him, but he was trying to protect him, because that's what Steve tries to do, protect. :D

Tony understands that now. He's had and has wards in game. Basically anyone under 17 has to live with an adult, so he knows he'd want to protect them from stuff like that. Plus having real power has taught him that sometimes you have to choose your battles. :D

That's why Steve sent him the phone. He doesn't want to be away from Tony. He lurves his bestie. :D

Tony actually came into the game with the flip phone which he keeps in a place of honor in his lab on a stand, so that is something Steve can comment on when he sees it.
