What the Hell Just Happed Tony Stark Meets the Doctor
Tony had finally figured it out. The Endgame after five years, he'd finally worked out what Stephen Strange had done and what he'd meant. He could feel the power coursing through him. He stared down Thanos focusing on what he wanted to do and where he wanted to damm purple grape to end up. He knew he wasn't going to survive this, but he wasn't doing it for himself. He was doing it for Peter and Morgan. To make the world a better place. And with that the perfect comeback to Thanos' "I am enviable." popped into Tony's head.
"And I am...Iron Man," he hissed snapping his fingers.
"And I am...Iron Man," he hissed snapping his fingers.

Not a scene he particularly enjoys. Now, what battle is this? And why is here? Which when Ten's time sight shows him the death of Tony Stark with talking the infinity Goblet but - that doesn't have to be the end of Tony's story. He can also sense the time stone in the Goblet, as well as the other stones. Too much power and it can't end badly.
Running through the sheer insanity and dodging the blows - makes his way towards Thanos and Iron Man and yanks the goblet off of Tony and onto his own hand. Which The Doctor twists his face in pain but he can take it - apparently there's a radiation payoff.
However, what to do? After all, he saw everyone turning to dust. No. Can't have that - again.
He won't make them to be good. That's a choice.
How to punish though - those who have caused so much pain and suffering? He could create a planet just to imprison them on a planet that is circling a black hole. Which is what happens with a snap of his fingers.
Ten moans in agony! That still leaves the stones. Those, those will come back with him on the Tardis.
However, seems to be fighting consciousness and passes out. It's very apparent the Goblet took its a toll on his hand but not as much as it would with a normal human. On top of The Doctor being able to absorb ratiation.

What the hell? Tony stares at his naked hand and then at the collapsed young man. "Hey Harry Potter," he yells worried first about the young man and not so much about the fact that he has no idea where Thanos and his assholes just went. Stephen floats over and frowns down at the young man. "That was unexpected," the wizard mused, "but then again time is fluid."
With a deep ease Strange picks up the young man and heads back towards the police box. Tony picks up the gauntlet and carries it with them. "I think we'll find what we need in here," Strange adds gently knocking on the door of the box. "Excuse me miss," he says politely, "I know this might sound odd but could you let us in please. We mean you no harm."

Which Strange probably senses the same from the Police Box, which she opens sensing her Doctor dying and creaks her door open. Inside is humming. They can feel like someone is watching them but not in a bad way.
The Doctor groans painfully and gestures towards that strange hand in a jar by the console center.

Stephen smiles and bows to the room and Tony follows even though his fingers are itching to poke around. "This place is trans-dimensional" he mutters quietly as Strange sets the young man down next to the hand and calmly opens the top of the jar though it takes him a bit to do it since his hands are tired and shaking. "And alive...in a way," Strange added, "she's singing to us."
Tony nodded as he sets the Gaunlet down on what looks like a chair. "It's nice....you sure this wasn't part of the endgame," Strange shakes his head and settles himself into a meditative pose his cloak lifting him into the air. "No.....our friend they shifted things...the question being why. I'm sure we'll find out in a moment. For now Stark I would rest...not many mortals can take the hit of power you did even if you didn't make the finishing move."
no subject
The Doctor turns to both of them and is looking more closely at Stephen, "What are you?"
Then at Tony, "And you, what did you think you were doing?"
no subject
Strange simply floats out of the way and Tony grabs the Gauntlet and moves out of the way setting the Gauntlet on the floor neither man blinking at the light. They know gods and super soldiers this is not weird at all for them. Tony rolls his eyes. "Saving the world," he replied not at all pleased at being told off. He's tired and it's been a long damm day. Stephen lands on the ground and fixes the young looking man with expression that looks both annoyed and amused. "I am the Sorcerer Supreme...keeper of the Time Stone and you rippled something I spent a very long time putting into motion...so thank you for that."
Stephen's tone makes it clear he is not happy. He doesn't know what this change means and time is enough of a mess.

"And I suppose you wanted your thar killed. And turning to dust that other side of the army out there?"
no subject
Stephen rolls his eyes. "I'm not getting into a pissing contest right now it's been a long day for both Stark and myself not to mention the whole time skip issue we've had to deal with. Tony nods in agreement. "Look Lord of Time it's great you think I needed saving now and all that...but that army out there killed friends and family and turning him to dust like he did us.....that was karma coming back to bite Thanos. I could have made it worse but I didn't because I'm not an asshole."
no subject
"And because Thanos did that to you and friends makes it right doesn't it?"
There's a clear look of expects better.
no subject
Tony crosses his arms over his chest. "My best friend just died so we could turn back time to get the stones back and fix this mess. She would have done the same thing I did only ten times more painful. That purple grape out there wiped out half of all life and you wanted me to send him to jail for that....great nice...next time I will....if I let there be a next time. And believe me I did try to stop it from happening completely but no one listened."
Stephen puts his hand on Tony's shoulder to calm the human down as he watches the not human young man. "I looked through 14,000,000 futures to find one just one where we could return those lost to us back again....and there was only one. And Tony Stark was at the heart of it. Would you then consider all he sacrificed all we sacrificed useless because we didn't do things your way?"
no subject
There is a sympathetic look when 'no one listened' and at the loss of someone.
"No, the sacrificing wasn't useless." The Doctor remarks softly, "But to do the same thing doesn't put you above him either."
no subject
"We want what you want," Stephen replies his tone evening out, "a peaceful word for those we love. I am a doctor by trade. I've killed once and I swore never again. My hands heal they do not harm Lord of Time." Tony nods in agreement. "I want my kids to have a better life then I did. I'm not saying my life means nothing but whatever it takes means just that."

"The stones will be placed back where they are meant to be," Stephen agrees with a nod, "and the Gauntlet itself will be destroyed. With Thanos gone the stones will be safe with their chosen guardians. Time will flow as if once did with a few adjustments for some."
no subject
There's a look over at Doctor Strange, a look that Ten knows more than he's letting on. That someone also has time sight. Unfortunately, as much as someone doesn't believe in using time travel as a means to fix things on purpose. After all, he only did it for Rose because Rose and didn't relieve it was a fixed point till they got there.
In this case, however, Nastasha had to die and they had to figure out time travel and the location of the stones; so that Thanos could see how to get the stones in the future from the past. Timey wimey stuff.
"And not Lord of Time. I'm The Doctor."
no subject
Tony gives the Doctor a look and pulls away clearly unsure about this person...."Uh thanks," he mutters as he isn't really good with strangers touching him. "Nice ship you've got here," he admits stroking the console lightly.
Strange however kept watching the Doctor carefully. He extends one of his shaking scarred hands. "Doctor Stephen Strange," he said with a nod.
no subject
Then his attention goes to the remark and returns the handshake, "The Doctor."
At Tony, "Can I help you with something?"
no subject
Tony doesn't realize what he's doing. "How is your ship both living and trans-dimensional," he mutters, "not to mention the mix of technology in the console. None of this should work together and yet it does. And this coming from the guy who just figured out time travel...with help."
no subject
"Good for you!" You clever human! However, his tone is quickly to change, "You're not going to go and muck up time now are you?"
A pause; "Help? Help from who?"
no subject
Tony shrugged. "It was team effort," he explains, "Ant Man had the idea, I figured out how to make it work safely, Natasha, Thor, Bruce and I figured out where we could land to take the stones without messing up the timelines and we broke into teams so that no more than three people were in one place at a time." Stephen smiles quietly. "And I planted the seeds," he agreed, "by giving up the Time Stone. It had to be done in a way Thanos couldn't guess what we were up to until the last possible second so he didn't pull one of the threads out of line."
no subject
Turning to Strange, "What about now? You're not just going to leave them with that secret are you?"
Humans with the secret to time travel, is that really such a good idea?
no subject
Stephen turns to look at the Doctor not afraid at all of the weight of such a gaze. He's lived through time loops, rewinding time, the loss of his former profession, being dragged to space, turned into dust, missing five years and the final battle. Judgement of this kind doesn't bother him as he's faced worse. "The people I gave it to not only sacrificed their own lives to make it work but also plan to return the stones to the exact moment they took them. And you question if they deserve to have it?"
Stephen resisted the urge to roll his eyes yet again. "You showed up at the last possible second and you question a battle we won like you have the right to and you do not. I trust the Avengers to do what's right with the options they have been given." He feels his relic flip an edge in agreement and Tony nods. "You don't have to trust us," Stark added, "but don't lecture us like you know what we've been through."
no subject
"I should be going. Don't belong here after all." Though there's something about his eyes that he doesn't belong quite anywhere.
no subject
"You could actually give us a hand," Stephen says easily, "your ship would help us return the stones easier then our option. But I won't force you into such a choice. That isn't who I am."
no subject
It's quite obvious that someone is staying emotionally distant, despite helping out.
no subject
"New York, 2012 17 North Bleeker Street," Stephen replied without hesitation, "my mentor will be waiting for you to return the Time Stone to her first."
